The View Motel was originally built in the 1950s with the intention of providing the best views and accommodations in the Verde Valley area without sacrificing the friendly, personable customer service that makes a family-owned business so special.
We keep our updated rooms immaculate, and each one is equipped with cable TV, phones, Wi-Fi, individual heat and cooling units, a view from every room and a large uncluttered parking lot. All rooms at the View Motel are on the ground floor, so you can rest assured you will receive the private tranquility you deserve.
We offer complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate in our motel lobby from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. every morning. We also allow dogs at the motel for an additional charge. Let us know at the front desk if you have a dog travelling with you.

You are visiting an exciting and unique area in Arizona. The View Motel makes an excellent hub for adventuring into surrounding areas. Cottonwood features Native American ruins, ghost towns, horseback riding, jeep tours, museums, vineyards, wine tasting rooms, balloon rides and golf courses. The area also contains two National Monuments, two state parks, and the locally famous Old Town Cottonwood. You can also find options for hiking, birding, and rock hounding, as well as the wild animal park, Out of Africa.
If you like the awesome works of Mother Nature, take a scenic tour into beautiful Sycamore Canyon on the Verde Canyon railroad, or head northeast to Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon where you can see vivid fall colors, red cliffs and monumental spires.

I love the charm of this place. At night, when all the landscaping lights are on it reminds me of the grounds from the movie Dirty Dancing. This place is unique.
Were able to check in at any time, which was convenient after an afternoon of wine tasting and dinner in old town. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly.
The view from our room is great. It is nice waking up to the view of the red rocks. The staff was very nice and helpful. It is probable that we will stay here again.
